If we want our children to move mountains, we first have to let them get out of their chairs.” – Nicolette Sowder
It is essential to go outside at least once a day, more if the weather is cooperating! When I say go outside, I mean spend some quality time out there, as much time as your toddler will allow. I aim for 1-2 hours. Outdoor vibes are a game changer. When I was pregnant with my daughter, a friend told me that the best advice she was ever given to soothe an unhappy baby was to put it in water or take it outside. I never forgot that little morsel of wisdom, as it rings true time and time again. Even if all you can spare is a few minutes to grab the mail or look at the stars at night, fresh air on those darling cheeks and a change of scenery will be appreciated and is so important.
